Looking better

Did a lot of work at the test page today … but I still need to get my other pages to look similar.

So it’s still stuck here, in purgatory.

Anybody care to check my spelling? Just kidding!

Anyway, today, here’s what I did: I fiddled around some more with the tube photo, and finally settled on something with a jacked contrast, high saturation and a little bit of curves action.

I created some graphics in Paint.net, which I like, but it is put together a little different than Photoshop in some ways that made me wonder.

Creating the text heading graphics meant I had to search for a font, and I settled on Edition, which is snazzy and kind of reminds me of The Daily Cougar’s nameplate, in an off-hand way. Woah, I just name-dropped for no good reason.
