About me

Hello! I am a 30-year-old professional communicator who is a web developer for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Houston. People usually ask me what that means. Basically, with the guidance of educational leaders and colleagues, I help make Web sites look and work better.

I just got married.

What I do

I am a freelance reporter and columnist who writes hard news, humor, features or entertainment articles on deadline. I also have a keen eye for design, and would love to hear about your Web site development or re-design project. Feel free to inquire about hiring me. I also have an online portfolio that highlights what I've done.

I have started blogging, to document the progress of this Web site.

I have a MySpace and a Facebook page, though I haven't had a reason to touch the MySpace page for quite a while.

I also trade and collect bootleg concert recordings. I moderate a Yahoo! Group called VINELIST, where members offer bootlegs to other members through the mail, and I have a list of my collection on eTree. I also collect studio albums.
